Barbara worked with me before and after two different
surgeries (knee and low back). In each case, I did not need medication
for pain and the physicians were amazed.

With a unique combination of healing modalities, Barbara creates
a profound level of relaxation that alters one's perception of pain
and allows access to insight that enhances the self-healing process.
Her gentle, collaborative approach gives the body permission to heal.
Clients learn how to listen and respond to their body's
messages, setting the stage to promote self-empowerment. Energy sessions
work especially well for pre- and post-surgical procedures—preparing
one physically and mentally. Energy sessions are also an excellent
treatment for chronic conditions as well as for on-going maintenance.
Barbara is also co-founder of Affirmative
Therapy Products, which
provides a series of therapeutic, calming messages recorded on CD
designed especially for dementia patients and their caregivers.

A
Western name for ancient healing practices, Therapeutic Touch is
a contemporary interpretation of several ancient techniques. The
practitioner uses his or her hands to repattern one's energy, or prana,
in the direction of health.
Therapeutic Touch was developed in the early 1970s by Dolores Krieger,
Ph.D., RN, a nurse and professor of nursing at New York University,
and Dora Kunz, a brilliant clairvoyant.
Stress reduction, boosting the immune system, accelerated healing
and pain reduction are among its many applications.
During the course of treatment for malignant mesothelioma, some patients have chosen Therapeutic Touch to reduce pain, anxiety and stress; and to provide support during mesothelioma radiation and chemotherapy. Learn more by reading the mesothelioma treatment guide.

Considered an art form, Jin Shin Jyutsu releases tension and balances
one's life energy—unblocking pathways and harmonizing
life energy with one's body.
Jin Shin Jyutsu is a light, hands-on modality. Barbara begins by
listening to the pulses. As treatment continues, she gently holds
specific energy points, releasing blocks and easing tension.
According to records stored in Japan's Archives of the Imperial
Palace, Jin Shin Jyutsu predates the birth of the Buddha.
Translated from Japanese, Jin Shin Jyutsu literally means "art
of the Creator through man of knowing and compassion."
Barbara is a certified practitioner of Shin Jin Jyutsu. To learn
